According to fashion bible WWD, rumors are swirling around the LA fashion circuit that the designer is preparing to helm the film version of Christopher Isherwood's 1964 novel, A Single Man. The book, of course, depicts a day in the life of a gay man in Los Angeles, an idea that Ford is definitely no stranger to. Details about the project, however, remain sketchy, and Ford’s spokeswoman did not return calls for comment.

Don't look now, but a gang of motorcycle-riding thieves have already robbed London's trendiest fashion boutiques 35 times in six months, according to Catwalk Queen.
The most recent targets of these fashion bandits are the Ralph Lauren store in Bond Street and luxury clothing boutique Press in Primrose Hill, which have lost thousands of pounds' worth of fashionable items. Consequently, the above stores have joined a long list of boutiques to have been hit by these thieves with apparently good fashion sense, which include Luella Bartley, Marc Jacobs, FrostFrench and Gucci outlets.
Scotland Yard has since enforced tightened security measures on these high-end fashion stores, but it remains to be seen whether any of those would deter these fashion bandits from grabbing items from such expensive labels again.
