Even Louis Vuitton has jumped on the celebrity fashion range bandwagon, as it has entered into a collaboration with rapper Kanye West to design his own range of shoes.
The controversial and multi-award winning rap artist, who is a big Louis Vuitton fan, has confirmed to WWD that he has signed on to create a line of men's footwear for the LVMH-owned luxury brand.
Apart from his venture with Louis Vuitton, West is also eyeing to launch his first own-name womenswear line this fall.

A collaboration between two of the world's most influential labels is in the works, as Louis Vuitton and Rei Kawakubo of Commes des Garcons have come together to open a joint store in Tokyo.
In a New York Times article, Yves Carcelle, chairman and ceo of Louis Vuitton, explained that the collaboration was the idea of the Japanese fashion house, and the luxury label felt it was the perfect way to mark the thirtieth year of the first Louis Vuitton store in Japan.

Here’s good news for eBay customers who have bought counterfeit products from the online auction site: a French court has ruled that eBay must come up with tougher measures against fake merchandise that find their way into the site and are being sold as genuine articles.
On top of that, the same court also ordered eBay to pay LVMH, the luxury brand that owns Louis Vuitton, 19 million euros in compensation, saying the site had allowed 'grave errors' to take place.
Christian Dior was also awarded more than 17 million euros, while Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Kenzo, Guerlain and Parfums Givenchy were awarded around 3 million euros.

A model from the former Russian republic of Kazakhstan died Saturday after falling from her ninth floor apartment in lower Manhattan.
According to the city medical examiner's office, 20-year-old model Ruslana Korshunova suffered from blunt impact injuries resulting from the fall and her death has been ruled a suicide. However, no suicide note has been found.

Here’s some good news for fans of Kate Moss who want to own a piece of their favorite supermodel: hair extensions that once were stuck to the supermodel’s scalp are now up for auction on eBay.
Selling off the supermodel extensions is photographer John Farr, who picked up the locks when they fell off Moss’ head as she was trying to evade paparazzi during a drunken night out in Berlin, Germany.
Fortunately, Farr isn’t just out to make a quick buck. Proceeds of the auction, which will close on July 3, will all go to Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs), a German anti-drug charity.

A Valli collection of bridal couture is in the works, which could range from from hand-crinkled bustier styles to elegant fairytale creations. Each design, the designer tells WWD, is “dedicated to my friends”, a reference to the unique "personality" of each design.

Angelina Jolie is no longer the face of Shiseido cosmetics, and instead chose rising English supermodel Agyness Deyn to front its campaigns.
The Academy Award-winning actress has been the Japanese cosmetics giant’s ambassador since 2006, with appearances in many of the brand’s commercials and print ads.
The 25-year-old Deyn, however, is reportedly slated to feature in Shiseido's Maquillage ad campaign this coming autumn.
